Tara Riggs

MS, LMFT

Tara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT #3969) in the State of Florida, receiving her Master of Science in Counselor Education from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She holds Certification as an Emotionally-Focused Therapist and Supervisor which is the gold standard of evidenced based couples therapy, and specializes in working with couples who disconnect due to communication, codependency, betrayal trauma, and libido differences. Tara's trauma training is in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), which integrates elements of emotional mindfulness, attachment science, somatic experiencing, inner child or “parts” work and emotion regulation. She specializes in working with individuals suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety, unwanted sexual behaviors, and relational struggles.

As a healing healer and fellow sojourner, Tara knows the transformation and wholeness that can come through counseling and considers the space sacred. From these shared experiences flow deep and authentic compassion, empathy, and resonance which creates a feeling of safety and understanding for clients that form the foundation of all therapeutic work. When connection is cultivated and felt, aloneness is undone, wounds can be healed, and secure attachment can be earned which engender the internal resources necessary to flourish and thrive in life.

She received her AG-ACNP degree from the University of South Alabama and is board certified through the ANCC. She has been in the nursing field for over 14 years, primarily in emergency medicine. One of Stacy's passion and why she became a nurse is her love for overseas mission work.

Stacy's desire is to help people feel their best and truly thrive, and that is why Bluewater Revive and Thrive was created. She believes IV vitamin therapy can not only improve your health, but improve your overall quality of life through the direct infusion of vitamins & nutrients into the body at the cellular level, where disease and chronic conditions begin.

Stacy's husband Cliff is active duty Navy EOD at Eglin AFB and they have a wonderful 6 year old  son and two awesome pups. They are both originally from NC and have found Bluewater Bay to be a beautiful place to live and raise a family.  In their free time, they love being active, traveling, and spending time with their son.
